Corvus Introduces the TALON Infinitely Reconfigurable Case System.

A free-form alternative to pluck foam, custom cut, and other modular organization systems

Columbus, OH - January 7th, 2026 - Corvus today announced the official launch of it's Talon™ Reconfigurable Case System, a free-form infinitely adjustable interior platform designed to replace both traditional permanent pluck foam, and other modular organization systems.

For decades, shooters have had only two real choices for case interior layouts: permanently plucking foam to fit one fixed rifle, or using fixed custom cut layouts that restrict where gear can be placed. While recent modular products have improved reusability, most rely on predetermined grids or puzzle-like interlocking pieces, which significantly limit efficiency, protection, and long-term durability.

The Corvus Talon system introduces a different approach - allowing rifles, optics, magazines, and accessories to be positioned anywhere, in any orientation, and reconfigured at any time on a structural surface. With this free-form approach, equipment is more precisely secure and efficiency greatly improved, providing a higher capacity and safer method of transport.

The Talon system uses a high-density XLPE foam base laminated with industrial loop fabric, paired with incredibly durable integral skinned polyurethane blocks that attach together using hook-and-loop fasteners. This creates a secure yet fully adjustable interior that holds equipment firmly while allowing layouts to be changed in seconds - without cutting, assembly, or replacement foam.

"Pluck foam locks you into permanence. Grid systems lock you into limited and loose orientations. And custom cut foam inserts are far too expensive for most to consider," said Ben Oros, Co-Founder and CEO of Corvus. "We built the Talon system to give shooters a truly future-proof case option that adapts to their ever-changing gear."

Unlike pluck foam, rigid grids, and puzzle style layouts, Talon's free-form design accommodates any shape and configuration without wasted space or loose fitting securement. Furthermore, Talon is built from premium materials that are easy to clean, and designed to withstand years of repeated reconfiguration, travel, and field use.

The Corvus Talon system is compatible with popular hard cases including the Plano All-Weather line, as well as Pelican protector models, with expanding case support planned for this year.

The Corvus Talon Reconfigurable Case System is now available at www.corvus-usa.com, with kits starting at $140 depending on case model and size. Customization options are also available for individuals who wish to personalize their cases further.
